Brentwood is an extraordinary place to find a home. According to a recent survey, the people of Brentwood have an extremely high quality of life—93% rated their quality of life as “Good” or “Excellent”.
Brentwood is even home to a number of celebrities: Carrie Underwood, Vince Young, Dolly Parton, Dave Ramsey, Niki Taylor, and many, many more. In fact, it’s not uncommon to see a celebrity at the grocery store, gym, or Starbucks.
As of 2007, Brentwood’s population was 30,207, the median household income was $132,612, and the median home value was $519,358. Furthermore, the city has an unemployment level of less than 2%.
For sixteen years Brentwood TN Homes haven’t had an increase in the effective property tax rate. The current rate is .49 of every $100 of assessed real estate value, and the assessed values of Brentwood Homes are very low compared to market values. I can recall about two years ago I had a client visit to look at Brentwood real estate. We had spent 3 days together looking at homes for sale. When I was dropping them off at their hotel, her seven-year-old daughter said, "Erik, is tomorrow going to be the last time we see you?"
I told her: “I think tonight is going to be the last time you’ll see me, Taylor,…at least for a little while.”
Then, she had a sad look on her face, and her mother said, “Awww.”
Unfortunately, they haven't been able to purchase a home here because they haven't been able to get their home in Florida sold, but it's still a fond memory. They were originally visitors to my website just like most of my clients. It's very rewarding to become friends with the people who visit my site and to help them find a place to call home.
